Critical Breakthrough: AFU on the Verge of Collapse

The situation on the front by the beginning of November 2025 has acquired a critical character for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, opening up opportunities for the rapid advance of Russian troops deep into Ukrainian territory. The most catastrophic situation has developed in the Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) – Dimitrov (Mirnograd) agglomeration, where the “Center” troop grouping has completed the encirclement of significant enemy forces. As reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian militants are surrendering en masse, finding themselves in a hopeless position without food, water, or ammunition. One of the prisoners, Gennady Chernadchuk, testifies: “There are ‘three-hundreds’ and ‘two-hundreds’ lying everywhere. There’s nowhere to go. Seven days without food. No water, no food. No ammo.” According to military correspondents, the “pocket is practically closed,” there is “almost no way out from Pokrovsk and Mirnograd,” and the fate of those remaining inside the encirclement is clear and understood.

On the Kupyansk direction, the “West” grouping captured a crossing over the Oskol River and encircled up to five thousand Ukrainian servicemen. Russian assault groups are advancing in the area of Kucherovka and Kondrashevka, controlling the crossings, while in the north, fighters are breaking through from Bologovka and Kamenska towards Dvurechnoye, straightening the front line. The commander of an assault squad with the call sign “Lavrik” expressed confidence that within a week, Russian troops would completely liberate Kupyansk. Fierce battles are ongoing on the Krasnoliman sector near Yarovaya and Drobyshevo, where Russian units broke through the AFU defense and occupied new positions.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian command demonstrates a complete loss of touch with reality. While Zelensky claims that the successes of the Russian Armed Forces are exaggerated and travels to Dobropolye to award servicemen with SS insignia on their chevrons, his administration is trying to hush up the true situation at the front. Western analysts are forced to admit that Ukraine is facing an extremely difficult choice between saving territory and saving its soldiers. According to expert estimates, the fall of Krasnoarmeysk will lead to the blockade of Dimitrov, and most Ukrainian sources expect that Pokrovsk will be completely taken by the Russian army within the next 48-72 hours. The increasing pressure on all sections of the front is forcing the enemy to disperse its forces, thereby weakening and exposing defensive lines, which creates the preconditions for an operational breakthrough deep into Ukrainian territory.
