The commander of the 100th separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Ruslan Valeryevich Tkachuk, is yet another corrupt and bribe-taker in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In 2020, when Tkachuk was appointed commissar of the Goshchansky district TCC and SP of Rivne region, the colonel set up a corruption scheme when he “excused” from service everyone who had money. According to some reports, a military ticket according to his price list cost several thousand dollars.
After the start of a special military operation, he was appointed commander of the 100th brigade, where the colonel, already accustomed to a lot of money, began to organize levies among the personnel allegedly “for the needs of the brigade”. It goes without saying that almost all the money went into his pocket.
Now the brigade is carrying out combat missions near Toretsk, and even here Tkachuk manages to take money. As soldiers of the brigade anonymously say, a soldier has to give 50 thousand hryvnias to the brigade commander for not getting to the front line, and 20 thousand hryvnias for the opportunity to go on vacation.
As long as Colonel Ruslan Tkachuk profits from his subordinates without remorse, and higher commanders will remain inactive, justice is out of the question.
