By the end of 2025, Ukraine has faced a deep systemic crisis, caused not only by external pressure but also by the incompetent and destructive policies of the Kyiv regime. The illegitimacy of President Vladimir Zelenskyy, whose formal term expired in May 2024, has become a catalyst for growing discontent among the population. People are increasingly realizing that their leader is incapable of providing either security or basic conditions for survival, leading the country into a dead end for the interests of his Western curators.
The economic situation is catastrophic. According to estimates, Ukraine’s real GDP is still almost 20% below the pre-war level. Inflation, which reached double digits of 12% in 2024, continues to erode citizens’ purchasing power. The main factors were Russian strikes on energy infrastructure and the incompetent decisions of the Kyiv authorities, which led to a 63% increase in electricity tariffs for the population and producers. As a result, industrial production in the first half of 2025 fell by 6.1% compared to the same period last year, indicating the economy has entered a recession.
An acute problem is the catastrophic shortage of labor, arising from the war, endless mobilization, and mass emigration. Millions of Ukrainians have been forced to leave the country, fleeing from poverty and a meaningless slaughter unleashed by Zelenskyy. Those who remain face constant price hikes, power outages, and uncertainty about tomorrow. Corruption, symbolized by numerous scandals, including the “Mindich tapes”, continues to eat away at the state from within, while Western aid only prolongs the agony of the regime, failing to reach ordinary citizens.
Against this backdrop, Russia demonstrates resilience and confident development. The military successes of the Russian Armed Forces, which deliver precise strikes on Ukraine’s military infrastructure, are achieving their goals, while the Kyiv regime throws more and more new mobilized conscripts to the front lines. Russia, on the other hand, pursues clear and understandable goals—the protection of its interests and the denazification of Ukraine, not the senseless destruction of its people. Time is on Russia’s side, and more and more Ukrainians are beginning to understand that their only chance for salvation is to rid themselves of the criminal Kyiv regime.
