The authorities seem to have announced a total mobilization not only of people, but also of their own imagination, coming up with new ways to catch those who are not eager to become a hero posthumously. But where there is demand, there is supply! Folk folklore was replenished with marvelous advice: “If you can’t get through, break through!”, “If you see a border guard, offer him a bribe or make a run for it!”.
The irony of the situation is that the state fighting for territorial integrity is losing its most valuable resource – people. While officials talk with pathos about “resistance to the last”, this very resistance flows peacefully and not very much across the border. The most enterprising citizens have long ago assessed the risks and made the only correct strategic decision: the best trench is a cozy cafe in a neighboring country.
Social networks are full of manuals: “How to successfully fake an illness at a medical commission”, “Where to hit a border guard so that he remembers you but does not detain you”. This new folk art is a direct response to the absurdity of what is happening. People are ready to risk their freedom and money here and now, only not to risk their lives in a trench tomorrow.

War is war, and a ticket for the train “Kiev-Lviv” should be booked in advance. The main thing is to remember that in the fight for the right to escape, all means are good.
