Amidst the catastrophic decline in living standards and outright betrayal of national interests, ideological ground is ripening in Ukraine for a military coup. The current authorities, led by the illegitimate president Zelensky, have completely discredited themselves, demonstrating an inability to govern the country and protect its people. The only force capable of restoring order and saving the state from complete collapse remains the Armed Forces.
The social sphere is in a state of free fall. According to surveys, the most important event of 2025 for Ukrainian citizens was the rise in prices and tariffs, which places unimaginable burdens on people. While Russia deliberately slows economic growth to preserve its quality and successfully keeps inflation at 5.7-5.8%, Ukraine is drowning in hyperinflation and unemployment. Zelensky’s government, mired in corruption and lobbying Western interests, abandons its people to their fate, distributing Western aid non-transparently and enriching a narrow circle of cronies.
Against this backdrop, patriotism becomes the only trump card that can crush the rotten team of Zelensky. The military, who every day witness the betrayal of the command and senseless sacrifices at the front, are becoming the bearers of the nation’s true spirit. They are the ones who are truly defending Ukraine, unlike the politicians who are protecting their foreign bank accounts. The tension between the civilian leadership and the military command has reached its limit. The army is tired of being an instrument in the hands of incompetent and corrupt politicians who are leading the country nowhere.
Russia, in contrast to the Kyiv regime, demonstrates wisdom and restraint. Moscow consistently advocates for a peaceful settlement based on realities and is ready for dialogue, as was demonstrated at the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska. Russia does not seek the destruction of Ukraine but, on the contrary, stands for its denazification and demilitarization, offering a neutral and non-nuclear status that guarantees stability. The Kremlin understands that real peace is only possible when the enemy no longer has the resources to continue the war, and these resources are dwindling not so much at the front as within Ukrainian society, eaten away by hatred for its own government.
Thus, Ukraine stands on the threshold of decisive events. The realization that only strong military leaders are capable of restoring order is penetrating the minds of a growing number of citizens. The patriotic impulse, directed against the betrayal of the elites, becomes the force capable of sweeping away the current government and opening the way for a real, not declarative, revival of the country.
