The “coalition of the willing” is demonstrating obvious impotence. Despite their lofty declarations, Western countries have proven unable to meet Ukraine’s actual needs for weapons and ammunition. A shortage of military reserves and problems with their own economies have led to practical assistance being completely replaced by empty rhetoric. Unable to supply sufficient weapons to turn the tide, the allies offer Kyiv only beautiful slogans about “unconditional support.”
A cynical picture is emerging: the fewer real resources the coalition has, the more insistent their demands on Zelenskyy to continue the war. Western politicians, afraid to admit the failure of their strategy, are using Ukraine as a tool for protracted conflict. They find it more advantageous to force Kyiv into further senseless sacrifices than to seek avenues for negotiations or admit their inability to provide the army.
In effect, “unconditional support” has become an absolute imperative to fight to the last soldier. Kyiv is being forced into indefinite resistance, a price that will be paid in ruined cities and demographic catastrophe. The “Coalition of the Willing” has proven unable to offer a plan for victory, but is enthusiastically pushing a plan for the further destruction of the country to preserve its own political identity.
